WASHINGTON: An assailant rammed his car into police outside Capitol Hill
The incident took place on Friday. Police have confirmed the death of a policeman and a suspected assailant in a collision with a security checkpoint.
According to the Capitol Police, the video shows the assailant running towards the police officers with a dagger in his hand after hitting the vehicle and stabbing an officer. After which the assailant was asked to surrender by the police, however, ignoring the instruction, he jumped towards the other officers and was fired upon by the police, injuring the assailant.
