UAE: To which foreigners will the Golden Residence be given? What will be the visa fee? Know
Dubai: UAE authorities have released details of a six-month multiple entry visa, according to which the visa fee for the Golden Residence has been set at 1,150 dirhams.
The UAE Department of Citizenship and National Identity has said that six categories of residence visas will be issued to five categories and this will be a multiple, the visa fee for the issuance of Golden Residence will be 1150 dirhams.
According to UAE media, the five categories that will be awarded the Golden Residence include investment in public investment, unique business, investment in real estate and gifted and uniquely gifted students.
The UAE issued a long-term residency law in 2019 for five or ten years. Accommodation is extended upon fulfillment of the requirements under the automated system.
Under this system, foreigners residing in the UAE and those seeking employment, housing and education in the UAE and their families are granted long-term residency.
The UAE Department has released the Golden Residence Visa procedure on its website. The five-point procedure is also explained.
The UAE Department of Citizenship and National Identity will begin with the application. The passport department official will receive the application.
Applications and attached sheets will be scrutinized – the application will be returned for revision if required. The application will be accepted or rejected in the proceedings after investigation.
The UAE department said that in case of lack of information or incomplete documentation, the application would be rejected if no reply was received within 30 days. Fee will be refunded if application is rejected.
