Turkey’s great success against corona virus
ISTANBUL: Work is underway in various countries around the world to develop a drug and vaccine to control the corona virus, but now Turkey has also successfully developed the corona vaccine.

According to the details, Turkey has developed a local vaccine against the modified corona virus. The drug called ribavirin has successfully completed the initial laboratory steps.

A local vaccine against the corona virus has been developed at the Ankara University Stem Cell Institute in collaboration with the Turkish science and technology research institute TubiTech.

TubiTech continues to develop local vaccines and medicines from the Kuvid-19 Turkish platform.

In this context, a team of 37 researchers at the Ankara University Stem Cell Institute, in collaboration with TubeTech, launched a drug preparation program for the treatment of COVID-19.

The team developed a drug called ribavirin, which successfully completed the laboratory steps. This anti-viral drug has also been shown to be effective against the modified corona virus.

The drug will begin the phase of clinical trials in a week or two. In the first phase, the drug will be tested on 50 volunteers from Ankara University Ibn Sina Hospital, Koch University, Imraniya Educational and Research Hospital and Ankara City Hospital.
