The US Congressman cried while mentioning Palestine
Washington: In their speeches, Muslim women members of the US Congress Rashida Talib and Alhan Omar drew the attention of the House to the Israeli atrocities on Palestine and wept uncontrollably.
According to the international news agency, an emotional scene was witnessed in the US Congress when Rashida Talib cried while reciting the heartfelt writings of a mother in Gaza. Elhan Omar also made a strong speech in favor of the Palestinians and on one occasion tears came to his eyes.
Rashida Talib said that a mother in Gaza wrote in her post that she puts her children to sleep in the bedroom with her so that if they die, they all die together because I do not want the survivors to mourn the death of another all their lives Do
Rashida Talib demanded that aid to Israel be made conditional on compliance with international human rights law. When I look at the policies of my country, the writing of this mother of Gaza breaks me even more.
Another member, Alhan Omar, said that every rocket and every bomb targeting civilians is a war crime, every death is a tragedy. I yearn for every child who hides in bed for fear of these rockets and bombs.
“Instead of condemning serious crimes against humanity and human rights abuses, many of our members are supporting Israeli air strikes in the name of self-defense. It is very unfortunate,” Omar added.
It should be noted that the number of martyrs in the Israeli attacks on Gaza has risen to 119, including more than 30 children, while more than 600 people were injured.
