Russia retaliates by ordering 20 Czech diplomats to leave the country
MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia has retaliated by ordering 20 Czech diplomats to leave the country, following the expulsion of 18 Russian diplomats by the Czech Republic.
The Czech Republic has raised the issue with NATO and the European Union. EU foreign ministers will discuss Russia and the Czech Republic in a meeting today.
The United States, meanwhile, has praised countries that have taken action against Russia. The incident came after US sanctions on Russia.
