Russia launches major project with Turkish participation
Moscow: A major energy project has been launched in Russia with the participation of Turkey.
According to details, Russian President Vladimir Putin inaugurated a gas refinery built with the cooperation of Turkey.
The Amur Gas Refinery, a joint venture between Russian energy company Gazprom and Turkish energy company Renaissance, has been built in Russia’s eastern Siberia region. Putin inaugurated the Amur refinery via video conference.

Amur Gas Refinery, one of Russia’s largest gas refineries, will have a capacity of 42 billion cubic meters of natural gas processing by 2025. Construction of the refinery began in 2015 and cost about ً 13 billion. 35,000 people worked on the construction of this worthwhile project.
