Promotion of Saudi culture, a good move for those who have the art of calligraphy
Riyadh: To further highlight the culture in Saudi Arabia, the government has launched a special survey and invited calligraphers to be part of the series.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, the Saudi Ministry of Culture has invited Arabic calligraphers to be part of a survey and present their views on efforts to develop their abilities in the kingdom.
The Ministry of Culture says that Saudi calligraphers should express their views by joining the questionnaire (survey) issued. It may be recalled that a survey titled ‘Cultural Exchange’ has been introduced in the country.
The initiative is part of the Arabic Calligraphy Art Residency Program, which is being organized in the context of the year 2020-2021.
The Saudi government wants to further benefit local artists through the exchange of cultural experiences. In the future, calligraphers will also be offered opportunities to enroll in international courses. These initiatives aim to promote the great Saudi cultural identity around the world.
