Preparation of major agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia
ISLAMABAD: The terms of an agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to improve the environment have been finalized and Saudi Arabia has sent details of the agreement to Pakistan.
According to details, an agreement was reached between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to improve the environment. The Saudi leadership approved the Green Initiative between the two countries.
The points of the Green Pakistan and Green Saudi Arabia agreement have been finalized and Saudi Arabia has sent the details of the agreement to Pakistan.
The agreement sent by Saudi Arabia has been sent to the Federal Cabinet for approval.
It may be recalled that at the end of March, Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman had telephoned Prime Minister Imran Khan and expressed his desire to participate in the Billion Tree Tsunami Project.
During the telephone conversation, Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the ‘Green Saudi initiative’ announced by the Crown Prince, highlighted Pakistan’s ’10 Billion Tree Tsunami’ project and said that it would help restore the ecosystem and It will be helpful in overcoming climate change.
Later, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Climate Change Amin Aslam said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have pledged to work together on environmental projects.
