Lottery token washed in machine, woman loses Rs 4 billion prize money
In the US state of California, a woman lost the prize money after winning the lottery worth 2 26 million, or about Rs 4 billion.
According to foreign media, the prize ticket of the woman from Los Angeles was washed in her clothes by mistake. The organizers of the lottery started investigating the claim of the woman.
A CCTV video of the woman’s ticket has also been obtained, but officials say the reward cannot be given without solid evidence.
