Islamic State of Oman announces free tourist visas for 103 countries
Surprisingly, India was kindly included in the list, but Pakistan was ignored
Oman, the brotherly Islamic country of Pakistan, has announced a conditional entry-free tourist visa program for 103 countries, under which the citizens of these countries will be provided free tourist visa facility. The first list released by the Omani government includes EU countries, while the second list includes South American countries Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador.
The third list includes Japan, China, Iran, Thailand, South Africa, Hong Kong, Russia, Brunei Darussalam, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, India, Kazakhstan and other Arab countries besides Vietnam. Surprisingly, however, Pakistan was not included in this wonderful visa scheme.
Instead, citizens of India have been included. Pakistan has good relations with Oman, yet it makes sense not to join the list.
It should be noted that free visas will be issued to citizens of 103 countries. In addition, the duration of stay in the state for free visa holders is being extended to 30 days. The decision is aimed at boosting the travel and tourism sector in Oman.
