George Floyd murder case: Family decides to settle 27 million

According to the Associated Press (AP), the family of George Floyd, who was assassinated by the police in the year 2020, has been asked to pay for the settlement of the civil case.
Ben Cromp, a lawyer for George Floyd’s family, said in a statement that the settlement amount was the largest ever paid in any case. It will send a message that the lives of black people are important and that police violence against non-whites must stop.
