Corona outbreak in Brazil, thousands protest against government policies
Brasilia: The death toll from the corona virus in Brazil has exceeded 500,000, with people taking to the streets in protest of the government’s performance.
According to the international news agency, thousands of people in Brazil took to the streets and chanted slogans against the policies of President Jair Bolsonaro. The protesters also demanded the resignation of the president.
In Brazil, 2,000 deaths are caused by corona on a daily basis, while more than 100,000 corona cases are reported daily. The total number of deaths from Corona has exceeded 500,000.
Brazilian President Bolsonaro is known for his ridiculous remarks about Corona, and his actions have been widely criticized by medical experts.
Demonstrators told the media that the president’s lack of seriousness made the situation catastrophic. President Bolsonaro did not buy the vaccine or take steps to prevent coronavirus.
