China develops another coronavirus vaccine
BEIJING: China has developed another vaccine to control the corona virus, with the first batch of three-dose recombinant protein vaccine reaching the market.
Another three-dose coronavirus vaccine made in China has been jointly developed by the Institute of Microbiology, a subsidiary of the Institute of Sciences, and Anhui Zheifai Longcom Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., according to a foreign news agency.
China has authorized the emergency use of recombinant protein vaccines, after which the vaccine has been delivered to markets in Beijing, while people in other Chinese provinces have also been vaccinated.
In the second phase of the clinical trial, which involved people between the ages of 18 and 59, after two doses of the vaccine, it was found that 83% of the participants developed antibodies against the virus, while 97% of the participants developed antibodies after the third dose.
Earlier, the Code 19 vaccine developed by China’s Synovik Biotech was found to be more than 80% effective in controlling the virus.
