Change in working hours of banks in Kuwait
Banks’ working hours will also be changed after a partial curfew is imposed in Kuwait from next week, a circular has been issued in this regard.
According to Kuwaiti media, the Kuwait Banking Association has issued working hours for banks during the curfew.
Banking sources said that the Kuwait Banking Association has issued a circular explaining the working hours of local banks during the partial curfew.
The circular said that the implementation of the partial ban decision would begin in the country from next Sunday, which shows that the working hours of banks have been reduced.
All banks will close at 2 pm at branches located in industrial and investment areas.
Sources said that the banks would abide by the Cabinet’s decision to limit the number of employees in the private sector to no more than 50 per cent of the total number of employees in each organizational unit in a single building.
