At the request of his wife, the old husband made the house rotate 360 degrees
Sarajevo: Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in love with Mumtaz Mahal, which still makes people feel his eternal love, but the 72-year-old Bosnian citizen built a 360-degree revolving house at his wife’s request. Surprised.
According to the Reuters news agency, Lubika, a resident of Bosnia, asked her husband, Wojciech Kiosk, that she wanted her bedroom to face the sun, so that she could see the street.
To fulfill his wife’s unique desire, Vogen Kiosk transformed his home into a 360-degree rotating house with the help of electric motors and the wheels of an old military vehicle. Surprisingly, the design and construction of this revolving house in the southern Bosnian town of Serbik, Vujan, never received any training in architecture or engineering, nor did he ever see the shape of a university.
The red-roofed and green-walled Vogen revolving house can be completed in just 22 seconds, and his wife can see for herself from the bedroom window.
“One day when I asked my wife about her wish, she said, ‘I wish I could change the direction of my room whenever I want.’ I have a lot of time to fulfill my wife’s wish. I had built this house when I got married and since then my wife wanted to turn the room towards the sun, but she also complained of not being able to see the street from the room.
“To build a revolving house, I demolished the wall between my two rooms and turned it into a living room that could be rotated with electricity,” says Wojciech. It took me a while to do all this work, but in the end I fulfilled my wife’s wish. He added that the house is built on a concrete surface that can be rotated with the help of electric motors and the wheels of military vehicles. We can rotate the whole house in just 22 seconds and if we slow it down, it will take 24 hours to rotate the whole house.
